Hatanga teams up with Hall to deliver projects

Hall is continuing to expand its presence in the Pacific, having recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Solomon Islands-based civil construction company Hatanga Ltd to join forces when tendering for and delivering projects in the Solomon Islands. The agreement will see Hall carry out all dredging and marine civil works while Hatanga manages landside operations.

WEST GUADALCANAL CONSTITUENCY MAJOR ROAD REHABILITATION TO COMMENCE SOON

Work to rehabilitate existing road networks within the West Guadalcanal Constituency (WGC) is on schedule and soon to begin after supporting machineries for the roadwork were secured in December 2022. Constituency Development Officer (CDO) Chris Elvish Laubua said upgrading work will cover existing roads including Marasa to Mbambanakira road, Kusumba road and Naro to Lambi road.

Ground-breaking for Naha Birthing and Urban Health Centre

The Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Culwick Togamana and the Australian High Commissioner Dr Lachlan Strahan participated in a ground-breaking ceremony last week, for the Naha Birthing and Urban Health Centre. The Centre is a flagship SBD150 million investment in the health of Solomon Islanders funded by the Australian Government.

Ground Breaks for Multimillion Dollar Airfield Project in Taro

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has paid homage to the landowners of Taro airfield for allowing their land for the important infrastructure. The upgrade of the Taro airfield will see a 950m by 30m sealed runway with a taxiway and apron, as well as the installation of a solar-powered lighting system. The upgrading of the Taro airfield is part of the $250m Solomon Islands Provincial Airfield Upgrade project.
