Name of Project: Construction of MFMR Fresh Water Fish Hatchery Phase 1 Building A and Building B.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR) in Partnership with Mekim Strong Solomon Islands Fisheries (MSSIF), Kukum Highway, P O Box G2, Honiara Phone 39143 invites sealed Tenders for the following works at Aruligho, Guadalcanal.
- Preliminaries & General
- Siteworks & Preparations
- Construction of Building A: 16.9 m x 9.8 m
-Containing Office space, dry labs, conference room, storage rooms and fish egg incubator room
4. Construction of Building B:18 m x 11 m
-Containing Cement Fish Tanks, purging and packing area
Funding: Solomon Islands Government MSSIF
Expected start date: April 2019
Expected completion date: November 2019
Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further from the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Billy Meu BMeu@fisheries.gov.sb(technical) and Sam Taloiasi STaloiasi@fisheries.gov.sb(tender documents) from 8:30 am -4:30 am week days.
Cost of the documents: $300. Payment should either be by Cash. Banker’s Draft, or Bankers Cheque, payable to Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources.
A guided site visit for interested tenderers is available. Register for the site visit with name and contact details at reception MFMR, Kukum. Phone 39143 before 20thFebruary.
All tenders in accordance with the instructions must be delivered to The Chairman, CTB, Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Point Cruz, P O Box 26, Honiara and clearly marked Reference CTB No. C10/2019 at or before 2pm on the 7thof March 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend.
