Procurement of Design, Supply and Installation of Electronic Monitoring Services for Longline Tuna Fishing Vessels
The Government of the Solomon Islands (SIG) has received funding from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for the Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program (PROP) being implemented in the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR). MFMR intends to apply part of the IDA funding to payments under the agreement resulting from this IFB: E-Monitoring System No. PROP/ MFMR/G11. This sub project contributes to PROP’s component 1: Sustainable management of Oceanic Fisheries.
MFMR serves as the implementing agency for the project and now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply and Installation of Electronic Monitoring Services on 25 Longline Tuna Fishing Vessels including land-based equipment for analysis of data, training of personnel to review and analyse the data and to maintain equipment.

Tender Bids must be in sealed envelopes and be delivered to the address below at or before 1300 hrs on 12 07 2019. Bids need to be secured by a Bid Security. The amount of Bid Security required is: USD60,000.
