The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) was established by the SINPF Act 1973 and commence operational in 1976. SINPF is a compulsory saving scheme making it the only National Superfund in Solomon Islands.

Vacancy: Manager Human Resources & Corporate Services (MHRCS

 

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund Board invites applications from suitably qualified persons to lead the Human Resources & Corporate Services (HRCS) Department. The position of the Manager HRCS (MHRCS) is a senior management position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager.

 

Part 1: Vacant Position Detail

a. Expected Key Outcomes - The Manager HRCS is an executive position entrusted with a pivotal role to lead the HRCS team’s  strategic and operational functions to achieve the following outcomes;

  1. Inspiring leadership to engage a high performance workforce delivering best fit quality services.
  2. Engaged in designing, implementing and coordinating SINPF Board’s Strategic and Operational goals and objectives.  
  3. Enrich strategic human resources management, succession planning, risk management, collaboration and team networking
  4. Sustain employees’ welfare, occupational health and excellent HRCS corporate culture.
  5. Efficacy in physical resource management (vehicles, staff houses, workstations etc.)
  6. Promote distinctive stakeholder relations.

b. MHRCS Roles Key Result Areas – The position key role expect to achieve the following;

  1. Leads and manage high performing team

  2. Provides Strategic and operation Management advice.
  3. Ensure compliance on organization legislative framework, value, policy and procedure inclusive of all statutory requirements.
  4. Adopt effective best fit human resource and corporate service frameworks/tools for the department’s key functions.
  5. Develop high performing organization culture.
  6. Provide sound advice to General Manager and management on people issue.

c. Required Key Attributes

d. Required Qualification/Experience & Skill

Leadership, Integrity, sound and attentive decisions, excellent communication skills, socially responsible, positive and sympathetic attitude, mental and physical health.

- Bachelor Degree with a Human Resources Management, Business Management or Administration and other related qualification.

- 5 Years of Experience in Senior Management  position.
