Assignment Title: Termite Treatment for observer office building, Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources

The Solomon Islands Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR)has receivedfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Pacific Islands Regional OceanscapeProgram (PROP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for this work contract.
The assignment is to map out the area of termite infestation both inside and outside the building at 82m² and 52m respectively. To undertake the spraying according to the environmental and occupational, health and safety standards of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and to do an assessment of the sprayed area and make recommendations on mitigation measures for future.

The Solomon Islands Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resourcesnow invites eligible bidders for works to indicate their interest for termite control for the Observer Building to the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR) Observers Office. Interested Bidders should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services (attach work experience with description of experience in similar assignments, similar conditions, etc.).
- The firm must have a valid business license to engage in termite treatment;
- At least 3 years relevant experiences as contractors doing works of similar nature of high quality and performance;
- The firm must have qualified technical staff with experience in the handling, management and disposing of toxic and other waste;
- Good knowledge of the Solomon Islands Government Building Standards (Draft National Building Code);
- Proven ability to provide accurate works according to plan, time and budget; and
- Is knowledgeable of Solomon Islands context;
